Aromatics

Not only do herbs and spices, bulbs and roots add delicious flavour and interest to your cooking, they also provide endless health benefits thanks to their  medicinal qualities. Here is a brief overview of the main culinary ones:

Aniseed

Muscle relaxant, digestion aid, laxative.

Basil

Anti-inflammatory, antioxident, anxiolytic (calms anxiety), anthlmintic (vermifuge), anti-parasitic.

Bay leaf

  1. Very instructive list ! (by the way… Herbes de Provence seems to be so good for general health. I knew it vaguely, you say it strongly. Great because we eat them all the time !
